PERKASIE PARK

GET TO KNOW

ABOUT PERKASIE PARK

Perkasie Park is a cherished historical retreat nestled in the heart of Perkasie, Pennsylvania. Founded in 1882 by a group of local businessmen and Evangelical ministers, our park has served as a sanctuary for community, faith, and fellowship for over a century. Originally established as a gathering place for Sunday school picnics and church camp meetings, Perkasie Park has evolved into a private, seasonal haven for cottage owners and past shareholders, operated by the Perkasie Park Association, a 501(c)(7) nonprofit organization.

Our grounds, largely unchanged since the early 1900s, tell a story of enduring community spirit and historical preservation. From the grand Pavilion that has hosted countless gatherings to the charming cottages that line our paths, Perkasie Park offers a glimpse into a bygone era. We are proud to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a testament to our rich heritage.

Today, we continue to honor our founders' vision by fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie among our members. We host nondenominational services, member events, and ceremonies that celebrate our unique history. Perkasie Park is more than just a place; it's a living legacy, a testament to the enduring power of community and the timeless appeal of a peaceful retreat. We are dedicated to preserving this special place for generations to come.
